Park wins Meadowbrook Invitational

Wheeling Park had something to prove today at the Cambridge Country Club, and the Patriots certainly made their point. Denied by University from the 5A OVAC title last week on Speidel Jones, their home course, the "Park" upended OVAC 4A Champion Meadowbrook, along with Steubenvillle Central and Maysville, to capture their 7th straight Meadowbrook Invitational. Jacob Nickell led Wheeling Park with a 2-over par 74 and Park had 4 players in the 70's. The 4A champions could not match that and finished 18 shots behind the Wheeling crew.
