Lots of rumors floating around the village pertaining to Coach Spigarelli calling it quits after this season.
Future for Bellaire Football

Bellaire will never ever live up to any of its potential with the person that they have in charge of the offense.....he should't be in charge of a peewee league offense let alone a high school one. I urge anyone who knows the guy, say is his name out loud to yourself with "Bellaire High School Offensive Coordinator" proceeding his name.....it'll make you laugh and cry at the same time. Comedy Central type stuff.

Come Camp 2018, Coach Spig will be on the sidelines coaching this team. I think there may be some staff changes, possibly. If they put some of their depth on the field to get game experience early in the season (allowing them to be solid when the tough stretch at the end of the season comes), I think they may be a pleasant surprise next year. Hearing all kinds of rumors all over the place of several players wanting to transfer in, this is almost as bad as the NFL offseason or NLOI Signing Day in college anymore.

Go back to the mid 90's.(95 team) Center 350 one guard was over 400 and the two tackles were near 400. Tailback who weighed 180 was 365 and the FB 330. These weights are on display in the weight room. I understand a soph isn't nearly as strong as they will be, but these kids need to live in the weight room, even the 8th graders. IMO Coach needs to require that all players need to improve their total strength 15 percent on more by school years end on all stations of weights
Bellaire will be better next season, hopefully 8 wins, but as long as they can be pushed around they will not go far.
