WHEELING \u2014 One of the things I really enjoyed growing up, was looking at the sports writers\u2019 weekly picks during football season. It\u2019s how I found out who was good and conversely, who was struggling.<\/p>\n
No joke, I\u2019d run to the paper box first thing to catch a glimpse at which teams were going to be the winners and losers each week. Of course, I\u2019d get upset if my favorite team wasn\u2019t predicted to do well.<\/p>\n
I grew up and for 21 years I was one of the guys in that same newspaper, making those same picks. How cool?<\/p>\n
So I\u2019ve decided to keep it going on this site. Some will agree, and some won\u2019t. But that\u2019s OK. The idea is to start conversation.<\/p>\n
