WHEELING — You know what surprised me last week? Not which teams won and lost, but the margin of victory. We had several showdowns featuring highly thought of programs that were won in decisive fashion.
\nShadyside and Wheeling Central. Dover and Steubenville. Point Pleasant and Oak Glen. University and Wheeling Park. Cambridge and Bellaire. The average scores of those matchups was 35.8-12.4, with the former winning in each instance.<\/p>\n

Know what else is unbelievable? The number of games I picked a winner in last week, that never even kicked off due to one team or the other dealing with Covid-19 protocol. Seems the same — if not even more instances — is in store this week.<\/p>\n
