Most things have figured themselves out and this is supposed to be when the picking gets easy.<\/p>\n<p>Yet as I sit here today, this is the first time we&#8217;ve been under a 70-percent prediction rate. What gives?<\/p>\n<p>For starters there are always going to be upsets here and there, but there seems to be more of them than normal down the stretch. Couple that with the fact that I&#8217;m a constant over-thinker, and it becomes easy to see how we&#8217;ve arrived at this point.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, there&#8217;s nowhere to go but up from here. Let&#8217;s get to this week&#8217;s selections.<\/p>\n<p>John Marshall 27, Morgantown 21<br \/>\nUPSET SPECIAL: I know this may not be an upset record-wise, but history suggests it would be.<\/p>\n<p>Wheeling Park 35, Brooke 17<br \/>\nThis is pretty much a must-win for the Patriots.<\/p>\n<p>Oak Glen 28, North Marion 26<br \/>\nClassic over-thinker&#8217;s pick right here.<\/p>\n<p>East Liverpool 37, Weir 6<br \/>\nThis has been a tough season for the Red Riders.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron 55, Beallsville 3<br \/>\nHide the women and children this week.<\/p>\n<p>Hancock, Md. 41, Hundred 8<br \/>\nHornets lacking a stinger this season.<\/p>\n<p>Madonna 32, Conotton Valley 16<br \/>\nI feel like I&#8217;ve missed like 3,489 consecutive Madonna picks.<\/p>\n<p>Bridgeport 23, Paden City 21<br \/>\nThis is anyone&#8217;s game.<\/p>\n<p>Tyler Consolidated 39, Magnolia 29<br \/>\nIntense rivalry game.<\/p>\n<p>Beaver Local 22, Wheeling Central 20<br \/>\nEight in a row for the Beavers? Going against the gut for some reason.<\/p>\n<p>Steubenville 43, University School 6<br \/>\nBig Red tune-up for playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Buckeye Trail 31, Newcomerstown 21<br \/>\nTrojans had four games canceled because of Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>St. Clairsville 44, Cambridge 12<br \/>\nBobcats have won six games.
