WHEELING — Surprises? As expected they were few and far\u00a0between as\u00a0the state of Ohio kicked off its playoff festivities.<\/p>\n

To illustrate\u00a0this point further, I missed just two selections on the Ohio side of the river. Speaking of River, it made me look foolish for picking Monroe Central, didn’t it? The other one? I selected Meadowbrook to go down simply because of the need to make an “Upset Special” selection, which everyone can see isn’t going so well this season.<\/p>\n

Still another week until West Virginia gets in playoff mode, but for some the time has already\u00a0come where a loss ends the season.<\/p>\n
