Wheeling, WV–Jesuit\u2019s success at the Big Meet hosted by Grand Valley State University didn\u2019t go unnoticed as the Cardinals swept this week\u2019s WVIAC awards.

\nMegan Truelove received the women\u2019s Track Athlete of the Week for her record breaking performance in the 5000 meter run. Truelove finished the race with a time of 17:54.25 which rewrote WJU\u2019s record book. The Winfield High School standout holds the WVIAC\u2019s top times in the 5000 and 3000 meter events.

\nOn the men\u2019s side, Dustin Hall and Julio Villatoro received week #4 honors.

\nHall earned the Track Athlete of the Week award after his personal best performance at the Big Meet. He finished the 5000m run with a time of 14:58.76. The sub-fifteen minute 5k stands as the conference\u2019s fastest time.

\nOn the other hand, Villatoro used the throwing events at Grand Valley to secure the conference\u2019s Field Athlete of the Week. His throws of 15.11m (49\u20197\u201d) with the weight and 13.97m (45\u201910\u201d) in the shot put were personal best records.
