WEST LIBERTY \u2013 Game times and advance ticket outlets have been finalized for this weekend\u2019s NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional men\u2019s basketball tournament at West Liberty University.<\/p>\n
The 8-team event tips off with afternoon and evening quarterfinal sessions on Saturday at the University\u2019s Academic, Sports and Recreation Complex (ASRC).<\/p>\n
Action gets under way at noon when No. 3 seed Bowie State, Md. (22-5) takes on No. 6 seed Mansfield, Pa. (18-9). Defending Atlantic Region champion and No. 2 seed Indiana, Pa. (24-5) closes out the afternoon session against No. 7 seed West Virginia Wesleyan (19-10) at 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Unbeaten and No. 1-ranked West Liberty (29-0) opens the evening session with a 6 p.m. game against No. 8 seed Slippery Rock, Pa. (21-10). The last quarterfinal of the day sends No. 4 seed Shaw, N.C. (22-8) against No. 5 seed Winston-Salem State, N.C. (19-7) in a matchup of CIAA rivals.<\/p>\n
Saturday\u2019s winners will return to the ASRC for Sunday\u2019s regional semifinals at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Following an off day on Monday, the Atlantic Region championship game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
A limited number of advance tickets for the Saturday evening session which includes the West Liberty game will go on sale Tuesday morning at a number of Ohio Valley locations. Tickets will be sold at TJ\u2019s Sports Garden and Restaurant on National Road in Wheeling beginning at 11 a.m.; the Main Street Bank outlets in Wheeling, Wellsburg and Elm Grove beginning at 8:30 a.m.; and the Student Union on the West Liberty University campus from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Individual tickets for each session are priced at $12 for adults and $6 for students with IDs. Discount packages of $20 to attend both Saturday sessions and $35 for all four tournament sessions will also be available in advance at the Student Union.<\/p>\n
Individual tickets for Sunday\u2019s semifinal session and Tuesday night\u2019s regional championship game will go on sale Saturday at the ASRC.<\/p>\n
