The Presidents (7-10, 3-1), who took two out of three in the series, struck for their first run in the third innings and plated three more in the fourth, including a pair on a two-run homer by Zach McMonagle following a Bison error.<\/p>\n<p>Bethany scored a run in the fourth when junior RF Anthony Packer (River Vale, N.J.\/Pascack Valley Regional) doubled and scored on an RBI single from freshman DH Dylan Wassel (Elizabeth, Pa.\/Elizabeth Forward). After W&#038;J scored a pair in the fifth, the Bison scored their second run. Senior LF Mike Pegg (Uniontown, Pa.\/Laurel Highlands) singled and came all the way around on Packer\u2019s second double of the game.<\/p>\n<p>The Presidents responded with another three runs in the last of the sixth to extend their advantage to 9-2. Bethany closed out the scoring in the ninth when senior 2B Eric Fudala (Uniontown, Pa.\/Laurel Highlands), who singled to lead off the inning, came home on a ground out by senior CF Tyler Dillinger (McKeesport, Pa.).<\/p>\n<p>The Bison amassed 11 hits in the setback, including two each for Packer, Wassel, Pegg and Fudala.
