So, okay. I\u2019m going to get the ball for one inning, maybe one inning-plus and just let it eat. It\u2019s worked to his benefit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The 6\u20197\u201d Hughes posted a 2.11 ERA in 35 games (42.2 innings) with Triple-A Indianapolis this season before being recalled earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very pleased with what we\u2019re seeing,\u201d Hurdle said. \u201cHe has come in very focused. And it\u2019s been fun to watch. He\u2019s backed the two outings that he\u2019s put out there so far. You see the ball coming out of his hand hot with some sink.
