PITTSBURGH — The Pirates will be moving forward with a six-man rotation for two times through, then the will decide the final week of the season who will get the reamaining starts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re going through it two times through the rotation,” Manager Clint Hurdle said. “We\u2019re still trying to make sure that we don\u2019t readline James McDonald or Charlie Morton. We backed Charlie up a few days already. Two times through and that should take us to the last six or seven days of the season. We will see what we have available then, if we need to spot start anybody or how we\u2019re going to roll.\u201d<\/p>\n
The six-man rotation consists of Jeff Karstens, Morton, Ross Ohlendorf, Jeff Locke, McDonald and Brad Lincoln.<\/p>\n
