The Mountaineers loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth, with Wilson hitting a bases clearing double to left field, scoring freshman Isac Franklin, sophomore Chris Rasky and Gum to bring the game to 6-4. Gum had reached on a single to start the inning, while Rasky and Franklin both walked.
