As of Saturday the baseball job is available. Get this, the former coach found out via letter in the mail. Really???? Another class act by a ONCE proud school.

I hope it's a CCHS graduate. When the decision to fire the him was made, did the A.D make the call on how to communicate the decision?

Was told the letter was signed by the principal, but at the bottom it said if you have any questions contact the A.D. Sounds like the A.D. got hung out to dry here.

I know on one of the other sites they claimed that Mort was offered the job but turned it down. Don Young may be a good choice with his baseball knowledge but some people still are not happy with him shutting down the Wintersville Legion team. I just hope they can make it a little more enjoyable for the kids, when they have some fun it brings more wins and will attract more kids to come out for the team.

who knows anymore on who they have in mind, i assumed it was Don Young but i would of thought they would of made it official already. There are numerous names floating around other forum sites such as Young, Koniski, Bell and Laase so who knows what going to happen. Whoever it is can hopefully right the ship.
