It keeps me entertained while I am on here, I wonder what we will find out next?

Sure they can, but if they reach the playoffs, they will need to show proof of having met requirements or they can't coach in the state tournament.

I have a question for you, I was told that IC has told the parents and supporters to keep a low profile when talking about the levy, because they are hoping to slide in under the radar and pass it without the tax payers who oppose it knowing that it is up for vote again, is that true?

The pupil activity permits never seem to be filled out right. The ODE will send them back if one letter is out of place. Then as soon as you resend them they activate them. All of the Big Red coaches went through the required class, they did it this summer. My question is (and I know this is going to stir the pot) you mean to tell me IC only has 7 coaches? I know of 2 coaches they have for sure that are not on that list. Or was it just a partial list? I'm just asking. Also isn't coach Bahen coaching at Ferry still?

Well the superintendent was on the news talking about it and I see IC Levy signs everywhere so your comment doesn't make much sense.

There is a pretty big ISSUE on the ballot in November other than Levy's..The Presidential election..pretty sure those who oppose the levy, might see it when they vote for the President..Any other year, this might be a decent strategy though..

I asked the question because that is what was told to me last week from a IC teacher. They said that they didn't want a big backlash like they had last time when they tried. I was told that they know that everyone that supports the levy will vote, but there are a bunch of people that don't vote unless they are pissed about something and they would rather not shove it down those peoples throats everyday, causing the people against it to make an effort to come out and vote against it becuse they are tired of hearing about it.

I am right with you on the vote against more taxes. You have the people in mingo who are going to have a major increase in water rates and lets not forget about them wanting to shut out the lights all over Mingo Jct. Some of these schools are always out there with their hands wide open wanting a handout because they can't manage their funds and expect everyone else to keep giving more money to a district that has wasted the taxpayers money for years, looks like they should just close the doors and maybe they can sell the buildings to another doctor for pennies on the dollar, like they did in the past. I am sure that with the amount of unemployment in the area, people can't afford to have their taxes increased, because a school is mis-managed by incompetent people. They can't even trust the people on the board to tell them the truth about their future plans for the new buildings, we all know that one member has stated many times to people in mingo that they will do everything they can to bring all the schools back to Mingo where they belong, then you have the members telling people in Wintersville that the school will stay in Wintersville, so why all the changing of the minds when it comes to telling people the truth? Once they pass this levy, they will be right back asking for more money within 5 years and raising the taxes again. I just wonder how many people will lose their homes because of the increased taxes that are being shoved down their throats.

If they want to keep a low profile, they're going about the wrong way...

You've got my "no" vote now after grinding that axe. lol. The Big Red, Indian Creek hatred is so amusing. By the way, doesn't look like John Rocchi got your memo on the levy cover-up at IC:

IC is still paying off a levy and Mingo is broke . Vote no and send your children to Steubenville.
