If we win by 2 scores or one point I will be very happy!!

    Go RED DEVILS!!!!!!

From everything I've seen, heard, and researched, this is anyone's game. St C D needs to close on the ball and tackle better than they did against J-M. The team with less drive affecting penalties and turnovers wins.

I will most certainly be in attendance for this one. The way I see it, this valley is one big extended family. Ours cousins from St C are in the State Semis! ( yeah, I know. Kinda corney!) There shouldn't be a football fan left in the Valley on Friday Night! We.need to support these boys! I'm calling an "upset" in this one! Defense is an afterthought in this one. St C 45 Norwayne 42!

Norwayne has played six games against five play-off teams this season (one team twice) and has outscored them 315 to 68. Two of the five teams were one and done in DV, one team they beat 64-0 in the regular season, then 48-7 in round 1, the other two were the teams they beat in the regional semi-final and regional final games. I'm betting the combined score is close to 90 points. This will be fun to watch!

                Also from Seth Staskey

If you're wondering why New Philly isn't hosting StC-Norwayne, it was chosen for D6 semi pitting Mogadore vs. Newark Catholic.

StC has had one hell of a ride. but I see it ending here and there's no shame in that.

We have only gave up more than 7 points once this year.

St.C will play a real team this week. They are an explosive team, but have benefited from the Buckeye 8 and their region being very down this year.I wish them luck, but they are very soft on defense. Offense wins game, but defense wins championships. St.C will learn that this week. They did make it this far though, and would be proud of that.

You have a valid point about the defense, but this is nearly word-for-word what was said before the last two playoff games that St.C. won. Absolutely, the team we are playing will be tough to beat... but St.C. is in the same class this year.

Seriously... you don't need to 'pick' them, but I think everyone in the Valley should be supportive at this stage.
