    Big Red vs Pinehurst

Can someone please fill me in on what happened tonight at the Big Red game? I started listening to it on the internet, but I had to give up and go to bed when the score was 7-7. A few nights ago, I fell down the steps, wheelchair and all. I am very lucky that I didn't break anything, including and especially my neck. I am also lucky that my female tenant's big husky boyfriend was in the house. He picked up the wheelchair and then picked me up and helped me up the steps. At any rate, I am bruised and battered from one end of my body to the other and I am in great pain. My left arm is every shade of purple in the spectrum.

Apparently the game went into multiple overtimes. Could someone please tell me what happened? I would be very grateful.

    Thank you.

Pretty good squad there from Canada, very conditioned, athletic. Great workout for the team. Oh, and that other "creampuff" we played~from Detroit? They blanked Toledo Whitmer 23-0.

The team you played is 0-3, and has only scored 24 points all year, according to Joe Eitel.

When you give up that many passing yards & still win, says a lot about how this young team continue s to battle.

Their QB was good, really good. The whole team was well coached and had plenty of talent, but the QB was something special. He was really poised in the pocket and elusive. He wasn't a running QB, but he was good at getting away and keeping his eyes downfield. He was also throwing some big time strikes downfield. Not a lot of yards after the catch, just hitting receivers even when they were pretty well covered. He was a little undersized, but definitely a good QB. Reno should pull some strings and get that kids parents the city manager job.

The best news is that Big Reds O-line was dominant again. The more I see of them, the higher my expectations for this team are. Like I said last week, all they need is someone to really step ahead in the QB position. That's the only real question mark at this point.

Agree. The thing that was obvious to me was that they were very well coached, esp at the skill positions. Fun to watch. The game reminded me of the '09 Inkster gamein some respects.

Trotwood Madison did have this week off, by the way. I wonder if they called Steubenville or if Steubenville called them.

I don't think Big Red would have a chance against them. But it would be better than playing Canada.

                            Trotwood-Madison contacted Steubenville, Steubenville declined.

What proof do you have? If we declined I doubt it was because we were scrrrd ... like you are implying
