Tradition for us out here in the flat lands but then you wouldn't know much about that now would you? We like our beer and always enjoy a good time. We feel like we are playing with house money afterall, we are just a lowly 8th seed in our region. If Leipsic were to have thrown their last regular season game, we would have been 9th and never gotten in. Thanks Vikings.

How about the mohawk mafia. they held shadyside to 43 yards in second half. also ran the ball down their throats when they needed to. you would have thought Trimble had the 270 pound linemen.
I will tell you about Trimble They will flat out hit you and never quit.
And guess what. your best shadyside team ever got beat by Trimble's best team.

Awesome effort and you got a very loud cheer at the DSJ game tonight when it filtered through the stands that you had won. Wait for the selective wind excuse or that the refs were against them all night. I feel it brewing and it should appear shortly. Best of luck with WR.

We all here at Trimble have heard for the last few weeks how bad we are and we have no class. Let me say I thought it was sad that our fans were the ones who cheered for Shadyside when they received thier trophy (and not because they lost but for the respect they deserved) when their own fans left when they were down and did not stay to give them their support!! Great game Shadyside!! GO CATS!!!

That is a very good point.

But remember OVAC supporters. Don't judge a community by a few people who post on a message board. That is ridicules if you think about it. Some of the posts you didn't like over the last few weeks could have easily come from a high school student or just an immature adult trying to stir the pot. I'm not from Glouster and I watched my team lose Friday to Marion Franklin - but I do know the folks to the west of us and most of them are great people. I promise you that.

Mostly my point was I felt bad for the Shadyside players! They deserved to be recognized when or lose! I have met some very nice people from opposing teams the last couple weeks.

I have to go with the Tigers in this one. I think this will be the first time Trimble will line up against a team who is bigger than them, stronger than them, and meaner than them. The Tiger line is just nasty. Another thing that will come into play is the fact that Shadyside is used to being here and they expect to win.

Bigger maybe, Nastier? not so fast my friend. The mohawk mafia as Trimble defense is known as just flat shut you down in the second half. Yes our kids haven't been to a regional final but hey don't tell them that. they expect to win all games and won't quit.
The Tomcat Offensive line looked pretty nasty in the second half.
Oh and the Tomcat players and coaches worked their butts off all year and almighty Shadyside coaches made no adjustments but the tomcat players and coaches did.

Not likely,Steubenville means Trimble traveling twice as far as Reserve.(132/61).
If OHSAA uses the facility closest to half way between the 2 teams , it will be at St.C.,100 miles for Trimble and 87 for Reserve.
