Here's an average players from WV, OH, PA and FL for the last 8 years (2007-2014)

WV - 11.5
OH - 15.5
PA - 14.75
FL - 21.25

As you can see, Florida is highly recruited. More that the other 3 states.

Ohio Pride but can barely beat any teams from Ohio. They are wise to play NJ, WV, & Canada because Ohio has done passed by Big Red. This ain't your daddy's Steubenville.

Steubenville does a pretty good job of stealing from the poor. It's a shame Reno only has 3 titles to show for all those undefeated seasons, playing with an Ohio Valley Allstars team. Reno should bow before his Zach Collaros idol every night, because without him Reno'd be a one hit wonder.

I believe you guys overestimate Big Red way too much. They are a good program. Not great.

Are you implying that a team can't play a tough schedule unless they play up 3 divisions? My point is there are small schools who play a tough small school schedule, do so with kids from their district, and dominate the postseason seemingly annually (see schools like Coldwater and Marion Local). Whereas lil Red plays a mediocre schedule, rarely goes on the road, has kids from IC, Edison, Weir, Dayton, Harrison and who knows where else, and more often than not loses sometime before the state final and many times to the same team in the same fashion. Does their schedule prepare them?

Lil Red is good, not great. Reno should go home and kiss his photo of Collaros because without Zach, Reno is a one hit wonder, who squandered a lot of high playoff seedings. Sorry if you can't see it. But you guys know so much about high skewl footbawl so I know you do.

Ohio football is tough. Lil Red is not representative of how Ohio football is played. They refuse to go on the road, play a schedule full of teams from everywhere but Ohio, lose to most of the teams they do play from the Buckeye State, and attempt to win at all costs making themselves the scorn and laughing stock of an entire country.

Lil Red is NOT what Ohio football is about. We tried to pay WV to take them off our hands but even they wouldn't. There are tons of awesome football programs in Ohio, which are run by good people. Stubberville is not one. Check out the MAC in western Ohio if you want to see exactly what small school football is about in Ohio. Good luck and great game, NJ bros.
