If Johnson come in healthy, I agree with RRR 2001, this could be our toughest game remaining, and one of our toughest this year. Hard to imagine Ursuline this year is as good as St. Johns, I hope not. Let's see what trouble they give the Raiders.

Sad to hear about Zach. I went up to Hamilton earlier this year for the game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Tim Horton's Stadium is a great place to watch football and those Hamilton fans are raucous. Was hoping to go back up after golf ends, but not now. Hope the TiCats can keep it up, but they looked in disarray in Zach's absence.
Getting really excited about the Dover game. I am expecting a tough contest. You know that Dover and Coach Ifft will have something up their sleeve for us. ROLL RED ROLL!!!You can take the boy out of the 'Ville, but you can't take the 'Ville out of the boy!!!

It's going to be a good game. Like another poster stated Dover always finds away to ruin our seasons. It's going to come down to the D line. If they can put pressure on the QB then it frees ups our LBs to drop back into coverage to help out our DBs. Plus it should help to confuse Dover's young QB by wondering if Big Red will send the LBs or not.

Bigred95....By ruin our season is in general speaking by not going undefeated. I understand one lost does not affect the season in football. It's a point not to over look Dover. If I remember right Dover beat us in basketball, baseball, and soccer (I believe) in the last couple years. Plus I personally do not want to hear Dover's BS if they do upset us.
Stay humble my friend.Last edited by red&black; 09-23-2015, 08:52 PM.

I tend to agree with Red and Black, Dover has been significant spoilers as of recent in several sports, even when we had good teams. They ruined very promising baseball and basketball playoff runs the past couple seasons, and of course our last football playoff loss to them after some of the most bizarre coaching in Steubenville history (that time out near the end of the first half when Dover was trying to run out the clock killed us --- and of course our utmost refusal to ever kick a ball since Mike Jones graduated).
They could be significant spoilers again with an upset this week. Doubt our kids will be looking ahead to Ursuline.......that's one thing our coaches seem to excel at more than most programs, truly and genuinely keeping the kids focused on the current opponent. If Dover's offense is truly down, a great opportunity to continue to learn defensively and strengthen against a strong passing scheme with perhaps less risk of their usual potent attack.
I have to believe their fan base will still be rocking, hopefully we can infiltrate the home side.
