Week 8: Shadyside (5-2) @ Bellaire (3-4)

Looks like a great weather day (80) for the 'Tigers'/'Big Reds' game. I expect Bellaire to try to exploit with special teams and an aerial game. The 'Tigers' are coming to rebound after losing by one (1) point to Wheeling Central...they will show up to play 'Tiger' football. Should be a great game for the fans and let's hope for an injury-free game. Both teams need this game for playoff time. I love BigRedsPride and his loyalty to the 'Big Reds' but tomorrow...have to go with the 'Tigers'. smile

As long as the series continues, at some point, Bellaire will beat Shadyside.

For it to happen tomorrow, the Bellaire coaches have got to put the kids in position to win. Two years ago, the prior coaching absolutely did not do that. Shadyside managed to get by with a defense that had 1 (yes, 1) kid with his hand on the ground. The other 10 defenders were in 2-point stances the whole time.

Result: Nowhere for Ramsay to throw the ball.

If Bellaire gets out-coached to that degree again tomorrow, I won't know what to say.

Question: How many onside kicks or fake punts will Shadyside try ? Bellaire seems to not be prepaired for several each week !

My mind says tom shadyside will win but my heart says bellaire will pull the upset mason hasn't really had an excellent game yet can tom be the day he gets bellaire over the hump

bigreds pride...I was listening to sports show as I went to Kroger little while ago. I think three of the guys took Bellaire over Shadyside tomorrow. I know Ty Fleming and Seth Stasky took the 'Tigers' but I 'think' they were the only announcers taking the orange/black. I saw a guy in Kroger with a 'Big Reds' shirt on and he started talking about the game tomorrow and his love for Bellaire. I said, "you aren't bigreds pride are you?" He looked at me like I was a little nuts...hahaha Bellaire has a good team but I'll go with my 'Tigers' and I'm sure they know they have to show up and play good football tomorrow. We'll know about 4:00p.m. tomorrow. smile

Pretty good weather expected, especially considering it is Week 8.

Don't bet on this scenario. The tigers can lose only one more game and will land at #6 or #7. If they finish at 6-4 they would need 3 miracles to land at #8. being that they may be underdogs against Linsly this weeks game is bigger than some may think and imo is the best game of the week.

I agree with Drew, even at 6-4 Shadyside should still make it. East Knox will probably not win the next two, and some of the lower seeds play each other which will guarantee losses to one of them.

Will Shadyside just have to go for two (2) points after touchdowns? What is the problem with the kicking of extra points? Good win for the 'Tiger' men!

east knox lost and will probably lose out. Fort Frye plays Steuby Central. Northmor plays a 7-1 division 4 team in week 10. Shenandoah is struggling only winning 8-0 vs a 1 win morgan team and plays Fort Frye also.....

Wonder if #43 Sam Merryman realizes how good he can be? Think that's the right number...he just plays the game with zeal and just 'looks' like a football player. He's a younger 'Tiger' but watch his progress...great football days ahead for him. Younger players don't get their names mentioned too much but there is a lot of talent in that group.
