Small School:

1. Shadyside
2. Wheeling Central
3. Bellaire
4. Steubenville Central
5. Linsly

I have the exact same for big school. I just don’t know how great Shadyside will be especially with the loss of Krupa, Francis, and Hanson. My small school is
1. Linsly
2. Wheeling Central
3. Shadyside
4. Steubenville Central
5. Fort Frye

Fort Frye might have it's best team in school history. They could very well be #1 small school.

Since this is 2018 OVAC You have to consider Morgantown and University. Both would be in the top two or three imo.

University will be top 5 I doubt Morgantown will. I don’t think Park will be a top 5 team could be a rebuilding year for them. They’ll have a good Oline and a playmaker or two but who’s the QB/RB?

These, of course, are only preseason rankings. They could be totally different after a couple of games.

I believe Jello's list includes 3A with the small schools. Bellaire, Linsly, and Fort Frye are all OVAC 3A schools.

Fort Frye is loaded especially at skill position return RB Tyler Fisher and FB Evan Schob. Also lead by Tate Engle who is (29-1) in the reg season and 32-4 including playoffs. Look for a breakout year from 6-3 WR Brady Schilling. How quickly people forget that Fort Frye was leading SCC like 35-0 in the 2nd Qt. Also Shadyside lost to Nelsonville 35-0 and Fort took them to overtime. #KeepSleeping.

Gotta understand something man, for 99% of the experts on this forum, football ends as soon as you pass SR 800. For many, it ends when you leave the paradise on the hilltop.

You're absolutely correct though, Fort will have one of the best teams in the OVAC. They will be fun to watch.

Shadyside 'Tigers' are on the field and working hard in the hot sun this morning. Expect the men wearing the orange/black of Shadyside to show up strong this season. Have a big school game in East Liverpool first game of the season. Lot of experience returning this year.

its not a really set we used. it used to be 4a & 3a big school 2a & 1a small school.. now with the 5 division it kinda screws it up
