Just talked with a sports person at Times Leader today, Friday, August 9th. He said the 2024 Football Preview will start to be in the news stands Monday, August 12th. smile

Saturday's paper said that it will be in the paper on August 20th, considering that we have a few games on Thursday August 22nd.

Thanks Rider 72 - the person from Times Leader told ss this week but that apparently was not correct. So, you saw it in the paper as August 20th...we'll go with that date. Shadyside 'Tigers' play at Martins Ferry August 22nd, so the previews will be out before games begin for 2024. smile

bigreds..we'll see pretty soon when the 'Tigers' travel to Martins Ferry next week! Was talking with one of the 'Tigers' players and he said they have about 30 on the team this year. Let's hope the 'Tigers' are stepping up and returning to tradition this year. Lost a lot from last year but that happens to all schools. 'GO TIGERS'!! smile

PIGSKIN PREVIEW out today, Tuesday, August 20th, for the 2024 football season! ss has her TL delivered to the house but they should be available by 12:00noon today in the newspaper machines. Shadyside 'Tigers' welcomes a new quarterback as Ben Wach graduated this spring. Let's encourage our Soph. quarterback JAYDEN JOHNSON as he steps on the field Thursday night in Martins Ferry. There are many athletes who have represented the orange/black out of the Johnson family! GO 'TIGERS' smile
