    WEEK13: DIIIR11 Dover TORNADOES (#11) 9-3 VS Steubenville BIG RED (#2) 12-0

I don't like playing anyone twice but see the same result albeit possible closer score, RRR

Look back no further than 2020, the COVID year. We beat Dover in the regular season 28-7. However, we played again in the playoffs and Dover waxed us 41-20.
That should tell us that we need to be ready to play. Plus, Dover has had two road games as the underdog and we are embarking upon our first road game.
And Dover just came back from being down 21-0 to pull out the victory against a strong Tri-Valley team playing with a 4-year starter at quarterback.
Beyond that, Dover's QB threw for 250 yards and rushed for 100 against TV. I said all of that to say that we can't be looking ahead or taking Dover lightly.

    Respect all opponents; fear none.

    Roll Red Roll!!!

Agreed…… assuming we will roll right past Dover because we did early in the year would be a mistake. That said we are playing really well at this point. Great Sr. leadership is really obvious on this Big Red team. RRR

We all know Dover travels well so we as fans need to do our part to fill the stands at Carrollton. It’s really hard to beat a good team twice at any level. Hopefully we can pull out the win.

I just looked at that Ohio HS Stadium web site. It says it was built in 2003 and capacity is 2700. Is that number accurate? Looks like a nice place except for the track issue.

More of the same this week. Big Red by 4 TDs.

Don’t over value the QB position at Dover. They’ve thrown for 27, 80 and about 60 in the last 3 games against Big Red.

And they had the “NEXT MAN UP” step up big time with 2 linebackers, 1 DT, their All State FS and OT out with injuries (all starters) So, let’s recap....SHORT HANDED, ON THE ROAD, LOWER SEED!

Control what WE control, play OUR Game and do what BIG RED does best....play fast, physical, smart BIG RED FOOTBALL!

                WE ARE BIG RED.....RRR

These teams know each other so well it'll come down to execution. If BR stays disciplined without the turnovers & penalties like they've done all year they'll advance.

With only 1440 seats, I don’t think the state would ever call.

I just saw that Huron Heights beat St. Francis (NY) 61-48 (50-600 yards rushing, zero pass attempts) and then lost 41-33 to Long Island Lutheran on Friday. Saint Francis (NY) beat McDowell and Clev Benedictine.
