Maybe 9-1?

I see us at 8-2 maybe 7-3. Roster isnt deep and the 2 or 3 games that are tuff are on the back side of the season
I dont see us beating barnesville. I can see losses coming from UL and Bellaire. And those are toss up games. Who's healthy will matter alot.
as far as personal goes. We have the talent. Imo we have the 2nd best and most athletic player in D5 in our area and thats Roby with Pettigrew being 1. Roby can do it all. Catch it run it throw it and 1 of the top safeties around. But with all that being said. If we go 9-1. We're a top 4 seed. 8-2. 5 to 10 seed. If we go 7-3. Theres a toss up of being out of playoff picture solely based on points and our schedule doesnt generate them

MF really has to rethink their scheduling. They missed the playoffs last year with 7 wins because they only picked up 76 L2 points. So their solution is to drop the mid-tier D6/D7 schools and replace them with a D2 school, D3 school, and a PA who combined for 2 win last year. There's a strong chance they wouldn't get in with 7 wins again.

Agree, if they finish with an 8-2 record, they might still miss the playoffs depending on how things go in their region. This year, they aren't getting any support from CS, Brashear, or Woodward. Those three teams might only manage to win a total of three games. Plus, with Buckeye Local likely only getting 2-3 wins at most, it really puts a lot of pressure on MF to beat Union Local and or Barnesville.

I’m not talking good or bad. I’m talking non existent. Whoever allowed these scheduling atrocities to take place should be let go. It’s like the program isn’t even there anymore.Originally posted by FieldOfDreams View PostMF is an average team who will exit in round 1 or 2 of playoffs.

Does anyone know if Mifflin, Brashear, and Woodward have contracts for 1 or 2 years? I think Brashear and Woodward could help Ferry secure 2-3 wins each this season. I’d love to see a matchup between Mifflin and Buckeye Local. Can games still end in scoreless ties? lol
How terrible is the Buckeye Local program?. It seems like that program is beyond saving. Any good football player should really consider going to HC, Ferry, or IC instead.
Speaking of local schools, Ferry should be playing against a mix of Shadyside, River, Toronto, Monroe Central, Shenandoah, Caldwell, Buckeye Trail, and Fort Frye. But didn’t Shadyside and River buy out 1 and 2 years of their contracts with Ferry last year? The only way those teams will get on Ferry's schedule in the future is if they have a standout team like Monroe Centra, and that's why they are playing Bellaire. I’d be surprised if the MC/BELL contract lasts more than 2 years.
I was shocked to see both Bellaire and Ferry in D5 this year. I bet they’ll drop back down to D6 after this season, just like Bellaire.
Ferry is a solid team. I believe they defeated a respectable team in week one, Mount Gilead. I think we’ll have a clearer idea of Ferry’s abilities after this week. However, we won’t truly know how good they are until they face Union Local. Considering that St. C lost to Beaver Local, and how Beaver ran over St. C, that victory for UL over St. C doesn’t seem as impressive. St. C might end up 0-4 after this week against Linsly. Linsly does have a nice running game and stopping the run seems to be an issue with St. C this year. Before the season I would have said St. C all the way but now it's a coin flipper.
