I watched some film that my friend sent me of Inkster. They were close with Birmingham Brother Rice as far as I saw..They had the best front 7 on defense in the whole scrimmage and have a pretty good offensive line..With that said, this is NOT the same Inkster team they have had over the last 5 years..Offensively they are not impressive at all..QB is not very good..RB's are only OK..Defense will have to carry this team...I will honestly be surprised, especially with the schedule they play, if they make the playoffs..

Well Inkster has one of the best running backs in the state.
I am rooting for Big Red but I dont think they're going to win..

my post from mlive: Harrison,Rice,Inkster,Lapeer West
I was @ the scrimmage and thought I would give all my thoughts..
1. Harrison, was by far the best team there..Offensively they were fantastic..Their QB #10 was very impressive as was their whole offense..They were OK defensively..Very impressed
2. Rice was the second best team there..While there was nothing outstanding about them, they were very solid and strong..Surprised at how much they threw the ball and surprised they ran the Pistol offense at times..

4. Lapeer West..Was by far the worst team there..They did hold their own against Inkster for some reason...Harrison wiped the field with them, as did Rice..I really liked their QB #16..Was a tough kid...But Lapeer was out of place in this scrimmage..
I've heard that the Inkster tailback, Hall, did not participate in the scrimmage due to a hamstring injury. So him being absent alone would make them a much less dangerous team. I guess we will find out tomorrow if he suits up.
