BELLAIRE, the pride of Belmont County Football

Sure, we might be down right now, but I feel like I have to remind everybody about how long our history is, and how we have dominated you all year in, year out for years.

We're down, but we're not out. We are rebounded this year, and more so next year, and we WILL be back dominating the Valley within a few years.

Here are some facts for you:

    • We have more playoff appearances than anybody in the Buckeye 8 and Belmont County
    • We did beat StC so many years straight that I lost count. 18 straight?
    • We have produced more NFL players than all the schools in the Buckeye 8 and Belmont County combined.
    • We currently have 2 players employeed in the NFL as I type this.
    • We have 5 different QBs listed in the OHIO High School State record books!
    • We have 3 different receivers listed in the same.
    • We have had more ALL STATE players than anybody in Belmont County, and everybody in the Buckeye 8 combined.

Sure, right now we are down, but it will only be a few more years before we're beating the snot out of all of you again! Mark my words.

Someone can verify more if they can. Remember, if a player doesn't appear in a single regular season game there generally is no record of credible NFL service. One of the exceptions to this is Buddenberg.

Another FACT. We use to play STEUBENVILLE but Steubenville DROPPED US! How many programs can say that Steubenville dropped them? None.

Thanks DVValleyguy! You proved my point, nobody has had more players in the NFL than Bellaire!

That list will grow by 1 before the end of this season is over when Nate Davis goes from practice squad to active roster and gets some PT.

Does anyone out there have access to some overall recrods? For example, what is Martins Ferry's record against Bellaire all-time?

According to rollredroll, Steubenville is 14-7.
