Wow the only interest is in the local teams I guess??? That's ok though I just happen to get into the whole shootin' match!!! Can't wait for this weekend to come may be the most competitive of the tourney !!!!!!! Weeks 2, 3 and 4 are usually better games than weeks 1 and 5!!!! Although this year there were more than usual week one upsets especially #1's!!!!!!! Still all of last years champs made it thru except Norwalk St. Paul who did make the show!!!!!!
If your team gets beaten in playoffs do you root for or against the team that beat you?????
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw this thread. There are some great matchups again this weekend. For you guys that have STO their will be games this weekend. Friday Mentor Lake Catholic vs Warren Howland and on Saturday Glenville vs St. Ed's. Anyone making any trips to see teams from out of the area. Saturday I will be attending either AVSM vs Mooney or Marlington vs Licking Valley.
      Don't Be Satisfied!!!!

last saturday night in the Hilliard Davidson-Northland play-off game,Northland punted the ball to Davidson with the HD reciever calling for a fair catch on the Northland 48 yd line. HD then lined up for a free-kick field goal attempt of 58 yds.the HD kicker converted the attempt making the score 47 to 7 with about 4 minutes to go in the game. in my opinion it was a great kick to show case your kicker for college recruiters but i think it added insult to injury to run up the score. this week Davidson plays Springfield in the 2nd round.

if St. Edwards plays good assignment football and is able to limit Glenville from making big plays i think they can with this game in the same manner that Hilliard Davidson did last year.

HD better put that crap away this week because Springfield brings some real offense to the table!!!!!!! That Tribiono (spelling) willed HD to the championship last year!!!!!!

IMO that's a classic example of running up the score. All it showed was the kicker has a strong leg. He can show that on kickoffs.

                      • Exit at State Street (No. 153A).
                      • At the top of the ramp, turn right (State Street becomes
Blue Avenue as the road curves left at the Speedway station).
                      • Follow State Street/Blue Avenue approximately 0.9
miles, through two lights (McIntire and Adair avenues).
                      • Turn left onto ZHS campus.

Yeah... I agree, but I can't say that where I live. You don't dare criticize Hilliard Davidson in Central Ohio. They are perfect in every way... the model of class and sportsmanship.

There's another reason for doing this. He gets practice kicking a long field goal. It's a safe bet that he may come into a game with the score tied and five seconds on the clock with the coach giving him a chance to win it. You might as well give your special teams some practice. Davidson knows that most of their playoff games will be closer than this.

We'll be in Aurora tonite watching the rematch between Cortland Lakeview and Chagrin Falls. These 2 teams faced off last year in the regional 2nd round as well. Weather should be decent and we're looking at a lot of offense from both teams.

Well it was quite a wild weekend ah???? Mine started with an incredible Bridgeport-Newark Catholic game that came down to a missed extra point and a blocked punt that nearly cost the Bulldogs the game!!!!! And ended with St.Eds losin at half time 16-14 only to score 28 unanswered points to blow away Glenville !!! Who'd of thunk it!!!!!! Speaking of missed extra points how about Colerain missing one and going down to St.X 24-23 !!!!!!!! Mooney survived a huge scare from ASVSM!!!!! Hilliard Davidson holds on to a 9-0 lead for nearly the entire game while holding Springfield's big powered offense to -7 yards in the first half!!!!!!!!!! Dover "the little team that can" !!!!!!!! What's your opinion so far????
                              GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORIDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
