Good meet but I thought it was poorly run. When a race came up where they needed blocks......the blocks were on the other side. Line up for the 200 blocks no where to be found. Had to be corrected on who won a race. Gave long jump measurements to the wrong girl!

People in charge should watch a meet at ST.C. , Bellaire or Ferry and learn.

Nice track and school..........love the walk up the hill at the end too!........

      Phoghat,

I'm with you, the people and facilities were nice.

With that said, I'm still not too sure if their timing system (finishlynx) was being used or if everything was timed handheld. I'll go on record and state that this meet may have been the longest that I've ever attended. This meet started at approximately 4:10 and I left around 6 hours later and the 4x400 still hadn't competed.

To the schools/tracks that Phoghat mentioned as places where meets are run well, It's my opinion that everyone (spectators included) should thank everyone at those tracks as it takes a lot of officials, coaches & volunteers to run a successful meet/invitational.

Not that it's in an ideal location considering the teams in the league and not sure if they take that into consideration, but Beaver Local always runs great track meets. StC runs a great meet locally and Bellaire does a nice job as well. Ferry and UL are solid. Best run meet I've ever been to was at Buckeye Trail though. Year in and year out they do a great job.

Big props also go to Phoghat, only last year he thought runners in staggered lanes were cheating and the hurdles needed to be turned around !
