Getting some discounted tatoos is no big deal. But selling OSU items, getting paid for autographed posters, driving big cars around free, discounted cars from dealerships, and lying
is a big deal. If it was not a big deal, Tressel would still be there.

dont believe there was ever any proof to the rumors of driving cars for free (without a reason), or getting discounted deals. Tressel was the liar. Thats why he is gone.

I think we will get a better feeling for where he's leaning toward here in the next couple of days. Meyer hasn't EVER produced a 1,000 yard rusher, and most of the time the leading rusher was the quarterback.

When I first saw video of Dunn and started reading about him I thought, OSU must sign him. Now four months later my thoughts have changed slightly. If Dunn is wavering at all then he truly wasn't a "Buckeye". If Meyer is going to run a spread, does he need a 4.7 running back? It might be better to use that scholarship for a player that better suits the system. Obviously if Dunn signs he will be used and should be quite valuable, probably with far less carries then he might want.

with a bowl ban, we would be in the national title picture in 2 years.
without a ban, we'll be back to dominating the big ten and in the title picture next season.

                  go bucks!

Meyer told Dunn how he always wanted a big back, I agree with what you said I don't see where he fits in the spread because he doesn't. Michigan coaches are meeting with Dunn today to give him there pitch. Coaches are allowed to meet with a player once a week from now until like january I believe.

The great thing for OSU right now is, head coaches are only allowed one in-home visit with recruits. Urban Meyer is not officially OSU head coach until after the bowl game, so he only has to follow the rules of assistant coaches in terms of visits. Huge advantage for the next month in recruiting. He will be able to visit kids many more times than he will be able to after the bowl game when he becomes the official head coach.

Michigan runs the spread as much as Urban Meyer does, so all this talk about Dunn not wanting to be in the spread is hilarious. They're not going to all of a sudden drop the spread with Robinson still there. Their spread will not be fazed out until after Gardner is gone after 2013.

And Urban win with a big runningback that runs a 4.7 40. He just also happened to throw the ball - Tebow.

Ok first off your only allowed to meet with a kid face to face 6 times in the next month. Brionte is going to be deciding before christmas and most likely he will be at whatever school he chooses in early January so Meyer has under a month to build a relationship with Dunn, thats asking a lot out of Brionte to trust Meyer in this short of time.

Michigan runs way more under center I formation then Meyer will at ohio. So really it is already being fazed out right now. You can tell that Michigan is for sure going to a pro style offense by the size of the linemen we are after and the type of quarterback we are recruiting (Shane Morris top 20 player nationally 2013).

Tebow was and is a quarterback. He was listed as the starting QB not the starting RB lol What did Meyer do after Tebow with those GREAT recruiting classes? NOTHING

I believe this is how most Michigan fans feel, whether they want to admit it or not.

On Monday, my outlook on the future of Michigan football changed more times than Denard Robinson changes direction when dashing up field for a big gain.
Promising thoughts in the morning, birthed by the fresh smell of a 10-2 season, a win over Ohio State, and flirtation with a BCS game, were doused in ice water by reports that Urban Mania was official. Urban Meyer is an intimidating force, folks, especially if you're his rival and he lands in a state superior to yours in high school talent. The image of Meyer from Monday evening, appearing refreshed and sounding motivated at his news conference, was reason for pause, if not hysteria.
An hour later, emotions came full circle. The Big Ten announced its postseason awards, and Michigan placed only four players on the first or second teams, and just one on the first team. Those are small numbers for a big win team and should be viewed as a reminder that coach Brady Hoke and his staff managed to mesh ordinary talent to assemble an extraordinary team.
Hoke's job undoubtedly became more difficult Monday. He lacks Meyer's national titles and name recognition. With Meyer patrolling the boarder, Ohio might be closed for recruiting business to Hoke. That's speculation for now, but this much is true. Hoke can coach and he can lead, and while Meyer was watching games from the broadcast booth, Hoke was on the sideline invigorating a program.
Will Meyer succeed at OSU? Probably. But at Michigan, Hoke already is.

I don;t think thats the case with Michigan fans at all really, instead they are pretty confident in what Coach Hoke is doing. These Coaches are out recruiting there tails off right now trust me. The class we have coming in next year has a chance to be the top class overall next year and it really addresses a lot of the teams needs like defense, and offensive line. I know I'm biased and everything towards Michigan but things are different there now Hoke has the support of everybody!!! Only time will tell I guess. GO BLUE!!!!

Im a little ashamed to admit it but that is the way that I feel. I have confidence in Coach Hoke, but really fear what Urban can do at tOSU.

Your entitled to your own opinion. I'm was just stating mine. Theres no way he does better than Tressel did imo. I just think your selling Hoke short I mean looked what he did this year with very average guys and thats not a knock on the guys. Rodriguez didn't exactly recruit defensive players that much and all he wanted to do was stockpile slot guys. The defense is filled with a lot of tweeners and Hoke's goal is to ger bigger and stronger guys. Meyer is going to run a spread offense at ohio, I don't recall a spread offense being succesful in the big ten a few teams have ran it recently Michigan, Illinois, and Nebraska sort of runs a spread. Those schools haven't been succesful 2 out of the three coaches have been fired(Rodriguez, Zook) Meyer's system may have some more wrinkles that remains to be seen. Michigan may have a worse record next year but have a better team look at the schedule Alabama in Arlington, @ND,@ Nebraska,@ohio.
