Who wins this game and why?

Ryan Mallett is a great player who the genius Michigan coach should've kept. He is the real deal and is the prototype NFL QB. This along with a power run game and pretty good balance at the WR position should make this a very tough matchup for the Buckeyes. The question is whether or not Ohio State can pressure Mallett with the front four. If they can, they will win. This game could go either way imo. I will take the Buckeyes in a close game.

The genius Michigan coach didn't tell Mallet to leave. Mallet left on his own. I am sure that Rodriguez would have loved for him to stay.

Technically both Mallet and Steven Threet did leave on their own. Both were told or knew that they would not be used or a part of RR's offense.

Mallett is a great QB, but he is still a Wolverine underneath that maroon and white, and we know Wolverines choke on Buckeyes!

I would have to disagree that Mallet would not have been used as the QB. Rodriguez coached many passing QBs over the years (Jed Drenning, Wilky Perez, Sean King to name a few). I am sure he would have been able to adjust his offense to fit Mallet's abilities.

Mallett wouldnt fit into the scheme, so he left. Its pretty simple. RR installed acc personnel in the Big 10 and he wonders why he cant win.

please learn some English. Speed will be an issue...just like it was against Oregon in the Rose Bowl and Miami this year LOL.

However, I would have much rather have us matched up against LSU. Arkansas is a great passing team, even with Childs out, and our secondary is pretty banged up and I consider that our weak spot.
