Yes, they might be really surprised how large the crowd may be.
    -
Or, maybe they could do a two year agreement so that each school
gives up their home game for one of the two years.
    -
They also have to pick a good day.

Great idea. Just out of curiousity, when was the last game played there?(not including Globetrotters) Is there a new court?

Throw in a couple good high school games in with it on a Saturday.

#1 in the nation vs #2! The Ohio Valley Brawl takes place Saturday and wooh nelly...this one is for all the marbles!! These are two teams and programs that plain and simple just don't like each other. After beating up WJ 9-2 since 2010, WJ turned the tables on WLU the first game of the season in their house by 23 points. The Toppers will be out for revenge as they look to avenge this loss and claim another MEC regular season title. If you can't drive to the Hilltop Saturday then RUN...If you cant run, then WALK...If you can't walk, then CRAWL!!! What ever you need to do to get there, just GET there!!! The Ohio Valley Brawl is sure to be an instant classic!!!!!!!!

The ARSC was ROCKING Saturday night! The Ohio Valley Brawl lived up to it's billing with WLU pulling out a tough 82-74 W over Wheeling Jesuit to grab a share of their 7th consecutive conference crown (3 MEC titles and 4 straight WVIAC crowns). By virtue of the win, WLU is the #1 seed for the MEC Tourney and the presumptive #1 seed for the NCAA Regionals. All five Topper starters scored in double digits. WLU built leads as big as 17 points in the second half before coasting into the 8 point W.

It's too bad that WL did not show the same level of respect to Wheeling Jesuit fans as Jesuit did to WL. When WL played at Jesuit the doors were open to both teams at the same time to allow all fans an opportunity to have a seat to watch the game.

At WL doors opened early for the WL faithful with many seats saved with blankets, etc. jesuit fans had to wait outside to get tickets while WL fans already had practically all seats as they were allowed in early. Jesuit was provided a very small secrion of about 50 total seats with some WL fans also filtering into this small section - resulting in parents having to stand in the upper deck.

A solution would be to play the game at the Civic Center as mentioned above in order to truly provide a great basketball environment supporting the Wheeling teams.

Well...WJ was installed as the #1 seed and host for the NCAA Atlantic Regional Tourney, and promptly lost in the first round to Mercyhurst. Left WLU to be the standard bearer for Wheeling and Ohio Valley. I'm happy to report that the Toppers were again up to the challenge and ran rough shot over the rest of the field in route to their fifth NCAA Regional Title in the last six years and another trip to the NCAA Elite-8.

On a side note, we would like to thank the WJ student body for leaving the Topper fans so many seating choices in the semi-final and final round of action. We would have rather won the Regional Title at the ARSC, but winning it on your rivals home court is almost as sweat! Picture of the Toppers holding the Regional Trophy at center court with the WJ logo is SWEAT!!

Next up for WLU is Stonehill in the National Quarterfinals.
