Making the "Practice Squad" is not playing in the NFL. He never made the final roster on any team.

There is a big difference between the AFL and CFL. Just for the record, the team he just won a title with is equivalent to playing for the Wheeling Greyhounds.

Yes, unless it just recently changed.

Collaros is in the CFL and will probably play in the NFL some day

The thread asks: "Who is your OVAC all time quarterback", If that means high school quarterback I'd say Jose Davis. If it means quarterback at any level I'd say his name's not on the list. Mike Sherwood played way before the twenty year maximum time limit placed on this poll but honestly, most of these names on this list are an insult to Sherwood's ability. http://www.ovac.org/HallOfFame/Details/34

By putting a 20 year time frame on this thread, then you can not claim "all time" .

Nate Davis was not on the practice squad for SF. He was on the final 53 man roster. Jose Davis is the best HS QB in the valley in the last 20 years hands down. No discussion.

Mark Cisar was better than at least 70% of that list

Between all the outstanding quarterbacks in the last 50 years at Bellaire and this piece I sent to the owner of this site years ago written by the late Cal Pokas, it would be hard for any program in the Valley to have as much excellence at the position.

"During the mid-1930s Bellaire boasted quarterbacks at three major college powers, Reymann "Bud" Bonar at Notre Dame, John "Katz" Kadlic at Princeton and Miller Munjas at the University of Pittsburgh."

Bernie Allen, East Liverpool. Went on to start at Purdue for 3 seasons (remember years ago freshmen didn't play on the varsity team). Beat the 3rd ranked Ohio State Buckeyes kicking the game winning field goal. Went on to have a 10 year plus Major League Baseball career.
