From the max preps roster for Massie:
    14 Seniors
    15 Juniors
    18 Soph's
    21 Freshman
So they do have a lot of young guys on the roster

Some other people (on another site) feel this game is going to be like the Athens game from last year. BR doesn't have the size, depth, or talent to keep up with CM. I hope those same people visit Harding Stadium on Friday night, lol.

I remember last year. All week Big Red people running off at the mouth and Athens handed their lunch to them. Don't underestimate this CM team.

The cm qb is a three starter then he was on the big stage (2013 state champs). It comes down to our line, but a thing to remember our seniors and juniors has a lot of experience also. We were young the last two years. There no excuse now. It's going to be a battle and great game. Roll Red Roll.

Harvard/Yale...Not bad getting your lunch handed to you by the div 3 state runner up. Many teams in the valley got their lunch handed to them by much lesser teams. then again we have the b.....ls to play teams like that. There is another team in the valley that needed a third game and if I'm not mistaken CM got an out of state team to play them so again if Big Red gets their lunch handed to them again all is well at least we have a pair.

P.S. Before Rookie mentions Mooney we all know we won one game out of 100 against them.

That is all well and good red. I just don't think that CM will be shaking in their shoes and losing sleep until Friday evening. This is going to be a great game. Let's all hope for an injury free game by both squads. I'm guessing probably the best matchup in Ohio this weekend.

Who's running their mouth, other than you? Most of us respect our incoming opponent, however, we expect a hard fought game and we expect to win and we know it will take a team effort for four quarters.

totally agree papa. Big Red knows Cm wants to add to their tradition. All I can say about this game is WOW. Two proud public schools going to play against each other.

H/Y who says Cm will be shaking in their shoes. Heck their starting qb won state as a soph. against The CARDS. I agree no injuries for both teams.

Big Red fans has TOTAL respect for CM.

No one can overlook CM. They have a great tradition of winning football. Over the last 10 years they have won an average of over 11 games per year, with at least 2 state titles. This team knows how to win. The only big advantage for steubenville is that CM has a 2 1/2 hour ride over 200 miles just to get to the game.

Yeah, and they'll probably nullify that advantage by showing up 3-4 hours (if not earlier) before the game. I know that's what Reno would do! This should be an instant classic and quite honestly, I can barely wait for it!
