Here a couple of videos and a write up of the Crestwood game.

Based on what I saw and read, it looks like if Big Red plays a similar scheme as the first game, Big Red should win (Or similar to what they played against St. Johns).
From the sounds of it, and based on the quote from their coach
“They rotated backs like that all year and our kids go both ways,” Crestwood coach Pete Thompson said. “We just kind of wore down at the end.”
, Ursuline just wore them down in the second half!
It seems like Ursuline is still pretty susceptible to the pass and that was key for Big Red in the first game!

I used the "official" name, lol. That what the city actually calls it.

Street football on Cedar. Nothing harder than running into the fender of Jabo's work car. I think I still have a bruise 40 years later.

Come on guys, lets be real! Pizza pie park was easy! But the true football games were at Beatty Park! Someone always ended up in the creek.
          Everyone wants BIG RED
They will all be ready for us.
Their goal will be beating BIG RED.
15 weeks is such a short time in our lives.
Take them one week at a time.
Take their best shots....And give'em ours.
          And let them know why,
          "We are the Champions"
          "We are Tradition"
          "We are BIG RED"

I can remember Billy Coleman launching "Lil" Larry Garrison across the creek, or "Salty" almost drowning Chucky Jennings, lol

Reasons why I believe Big Red is headed to the finals & will beat Ursuline
                    1. Big Red has a better quarterback
                    2. Big Red has a better stable of running backs
                    3. Big Red is better on both lines of scrimmage
                    4. Big Red has better linebackers
                    5. Big Red has a better secondary
                    6. Big Red has a better coaching staff

Ursuline has talent that will come ready to play with a huge chip on their shoulder after getting blasted by Big Red in the regular season. The Big Red coaches will not allow them to take them likely since all that stands between Big Red & Columbus is 4 quarters of hard nosed football they played all season long.

People are all talking about who Ursuline was missing when we played, seem to forget that Jalen missed that game for us. I was not impressed with Ursuline when we met the first time, but I'm sure they have improved from then and certainly a program that I respect. We are on a mission to win a state championship, the way the defense is playing that certainly looks possible and the penalties appear to have been cleaned up for once. RRR!!!!

That's the original Jabo's, mind you. He came out and played with us one day. He cheated. He kept juggling the ball back and forth saying it was still in motion so we couldn't tag him down, lol.

No John Ziegler, Pizza Pie or Piece of Pie, the park was not a figment of Reno's imagination.

                        Roll Red Roll.

Lol, I know all of those guys. Salty had the best party in high school I have ever been to. The details would get me booted from this site, lol.

I don't care who was injured or how much better ursline is playing now fact of the matter is we are two plus touchdowns better than them. This is high school when you get dominated like they did its mentally hard to recover from that when you see them again. Sure they will come out fired up and play with all they have but if big red goes up by a score or two DejaVu will kick in and you can give it up. I see a 28-14 35-21 type of game .
Ask the Benidictine fans, coaches and player about a rematch after winning the first one rather easily. We'll Tol Central Catholic just knocked of "the sure bet" to win the title after losing by 2 touchdowns the first time. And TCC scored very late to make it half way respectable. All the same things being said about the big red were being said about the Bennies....."can't miss state champions, as good as D1 teams, unbeatable" and alot of other smack talk. I bet Benedictine wishes they didn't have to play a rematch. ROLLREDROLL....be humble, respect the foe and then go wax them good!!!!
