major changes on ferrys schedule next year, at least 7 new opponents as shadyside, river tusky valley, st.c FCA, berne union and now rootstown.are off.

new opponents added as of right now are buckeye and maybe edison,it is listed as being doubled booked.

Poland 34-Ferry 14 but was an entertaining game just too many young team mistakes! Int’s and miscues and a few personal fouls( not fighting) gave them some very long fields! Size wasn’t an issue but man #10 for Poland is quick but little!!! I felt like Kropka seemed a bit well unsure and nervous at times and made some questionable choices but hey those kids played their hearts out!! Could have easily been 21-10 Riders going into halftime really! The future looks good though!

Defense played better than expected. The offense look pretty good one thing for sure is that offensive line is going to be a lot of problems to a lot of people next year. Poland was probably just a little bit better speed wise. Ferry has nothing to hang their heads about on this one, they played very good

agree Sage. The only thing I would like to have seen a little different was their running game. Except for the second scoring drive, they continued to try running inside the tackles against 7-8-9 man fronts that were just stacked and waiting for it. Much of it was run from single back sets or I formations. When they got the score in the second half they finally started using the power I that got them 400 yards rushing v Blair. That #50 is a stud when he is in the backfield blocking. I did not see him miss a single block v Blair or in the scoring drive v PS, and he was blowing people up! I heard he is only a frosh and it makes sense to me they should try to move him to FB next year. Some might say they didn’t have the time to just run the ball, they couldn’t afford to waste time w the power I, except they kept running the ball between the tackles from single back sets even when they were down 2 tds. I thought that was a tactical mistake and it seemed to me when we lined up power v power, they could not stop us.

but you can’t complain. 10-2 and a playoff win on a team w only 5 Sr’s and they gave PS a good game. Will have to see but I don’t think PS can go on from here. Uphill climb is pretty steep from here forward but they certainly have plenty of speed and talent. Oh, and btw, I dont know what year he is but they have a legit D1 talent at kicker. More often than not his kicks were in the end zone or just short, and I watched him in warmups kick 45 and 50 yd FGs that were easily good from 55. If they r in a game where it comes down to them needing a FG to win, I got my money on this kid

anyway, I came from Cleveland and saw 4 games this year which is a lot more than I have in a while, and I enjoyed the “ride”. Good luck Krop and the rest of the riders in the future, and thank you!

You can’t replace a D1 kid but Ferry should be able to reload at QB and RB
