I did one of those on my way home from a New Years Eve party. First time I ever tried one.

I see the OHSAA is still dragging their feet on this.

I have thought a lot about this.
            .
            Here is my current stance.

When Cheering has a scoreboard, then I will consider it a sport.
            .
From what I have seen, currently, athletes perform and then their score is kept a secret.
            Why?

If it was a sport, we would have scores and a scoreboard.
It would also add to the excitement of each performance and keep the crowd interested.

            Therefore,
Gymnastics is a sport. We immediately get scores and there is a scoreboard
            Cheering?

Excellent points. You won me back. Cheerleaders is not a Sport but an activity that requires a lot of practice.

This debate is in it's 14th year. That has to be a record. Debating is not a Sport.

If cheerleading is a sport, so is debating

By that reasoning, quiz bowl is a sport.
