Slept on it last night. Still extremely impressed with Big Red. Complete team this year.

Has everyone seen CM's comments in the Wilmington paper? Overall he spoke highly of Big Red. What caught my attention was his comments toward Waynesville! Can someone give some context toward this relationship?
Can you imagine if Reno said something like this, "We’re a much better football team than if we would have stayed home and played somebody like Indian Creek,” Reno said. “You play a team like Indian Creek and you don’t get any better. ..."

Yet the disparaging comments about Waynesville seemed unnecessary and inappropriate, unless there is something we don't know........perhaps some bad blood from the game last year with Waynesville. Notwithstanding, Waynesville made the playoffs last year and gave CM points from 7 regular season wins. They barely beat Waynesville in 2013. I don't get the comments either?

I think if Steubenville was in the NFL, the only team that would give them a game would be the Patriots. Big Red is that good! I'm sayin at least 5 D1 players on this team. Just an incredibly talented group of athletes. Must have started recruiting from Creek and Edison when these kids were in flag football instead of waiting until Jr high.

I get the coach had no issues with "questionable" calls when Mandela stripped the CM back that took away a touchdown, or the "questionable" fumble by Jeremy Blue on the 1 yard line. He makes it sound like CM won either way, but the truth is he did not sign up to play Big Red only for the payday or nearly 4 hrs drive for his talented team. His team competed, but the statement was made by Big Red.RIP Albert Ottenweiler, the last true Bishop of Steubenville.

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how many on the team played Steubenville Tigers or Harding football?Everyone wants BIG RED
They will all be ready for us.
Their goal will be beating BIG RED.
15 weeks is such a short time in our lives.
Take them one week at a time.
Take their best shots....And give'em ours.
And let them know why,
"We are the Champions"
"We are Tradition"
"We are BIG RED"

While Bigred91 go back in the old junior high and tiger photos and start matching them up. then you while get your answer. I know I been watching this group of seniors since they were freshman.
P.S. If you ask your friend sonofsam he will say they all came from creek.

No need! Don't know if that was a cheap slap because I'm friends with people from Indian Creek, but oh well, whatever! The only reason I asked was to prove that majority of OUR BOYS were home grown. I know enough people in the Tigers organization to ask.Everyone wants BIG RED

Looks like you will get to find out how tough some of those" 5-7 150" Big Red kids are in helmet & pads that you made fun of during baseball season, but then a couple days later I could not even find the score about the rematch on the ST C baseball thread.
