Why only 1.0 GPA required in Ohio?

And you have plenty of high school and college coaches who don't care at all about what happens to their players after they use up their eligibility.
    And those are the coaches who point at their record to say how great they are.

    They don't have a clue. If that's why you're in the profession then you should get out. One area coach once told me in an interview that this is a "business", and you should treat it like one. I don't buy it.

    The NFL is a business...high school and college football shouldn't be.

      Exactly. Imo, the high school coaches job is to shape the young man both academically and athletically so he can get a scholarship for college. The more players a high school coach sends to the next level with scholarship (either academic or athletic), the more money he should be paid. And that should be the business behind it.
