St. Clairsville’s Michael Ferns will appear on a Sunday morning special of Good Morning America’s weekend edition.
Only a Junior, Ferns has already made a verbal commitment to attend the University of Michigan after hanging up his cleats for the Red Devils. Recently, Ferns caught a lot of publicity for being part of a football play that caught national attention.
After breaking lose for a long touchdown run, Ferns purposely ran out of bounds so that his teammate Logan Thompson could score the go ahead touchdown.
Thompson scored the touchdown as a tribute to his father who passed away only days before the game.
What will the feature with Good Morning America be about? Your guess is as good as mine, but considering that Ferns is a 4.0 student, a standout athlete, and an even better young man – I’m sure the interview will be well worth tuning into.
