If it wasnt for Morgantown misisng layups early, they would have been ahead instead of down at half. They had NM rattled thru 3 periods but couldnt make the easy shots. Lost by 15 but game was closer than the score. Up here no one can run with them but like Creek, they are due for an off game.

Creek would dominate underneath with the Billick girl. She is very consistent and strong. NM doesnt have an inside game or at least did not show one against morgantown. Billick would do well. They Buyard (sp.) girl for NM is very good, she the floor leader and plays both well on both offense and defense. She is a tall guard, was their leading rebounder. NM guards are very aggressive and close on their player fast and tight. Creeks guards are good but would have tough time getting good looks. Edge to NM after seeing how JM beat IC. I agree it would be great to see.

One of those girls would be the Lidtke girl....Coach's daughter. Yes they are going to be very good. River played them and actually should have won that game but once again they could not make their foul shots, lost 29-26.If you always follow the leader, the scenery never changes

Coach Liedtke's daughter runs the points and does a nice job, the other two are Combs and Buchanan. You will be hearing these names for what will seam like forever to opposing teams. Not to mention another Liedtke to be added to the team next year.(I believe shes in 8th grade this year)The battle is always the fiercest just before the victory.

Great game last night in Morgantown with Park beating University High. Great effort by all the players. The two Freshman on Park's team did a great job. Emily P (from OC) player a great all around game. I believe she scored over 20 points for Park plus handled the ball extremely well against University High's tramping press defense. Haley R. (MC) also played a very good game. She had some early scoring which definetly helped Park establish their game early on in the game.
Great effort from the "Frosh".

Great night...hard to keep track of all the points...but not impossible.

Look out for Park in a few years. To have a freshman(Emily) as Park's best player and the Robb girl playing well, wow. You also have Petrin and Stefanow that will be back next year. The George girl from Whg. Middle and I hear there's a girl from Triad.(not sure of name but I heard a post player), someone can correct me. Park looks strong for a few years to come. What a good job to those freshman.

The George girl is going to John Marshall, but there is going to be a wealth of great freshmen next year at Wheeling Park. If you look at the Parichol league this year that can tell you how good they will be. Most of the stars from that league are going to Wheeling Park:
St Mikes - Marissa Tucker(OC PLayer), Danielle Kutrovac (Marshall County Player), Carly
Collins (OC Player)
Corpus Christi - Kelesa Johnson (OC Player)
St Vincent - Maria Olson (Marshall County Player)
Our Lady of Peace -Caitlyn Taylor (Marshall County Player)
Don't forget the Jackson girl from Triadelphia.
Look out - Here Come the Patriots!!!
