I see Big Reds have a couple new teams on their schedule. How do they stack up with them ?

Bellaire has a schedule where they could win 8-9 games and win a couple playoff games !

Bellaire is 0-7 against Shadyside and Martins Ferry and St. C. are two other Teams that beats us a good bit. Hopefully Bellaire gets up for those three because they will be up for them.

Don’t they play Cambridge ? Would be first time I believe in awhile ? Thoughts?

I look for an 9-1 season.

Since Dover and New Philly joining might as well get them on the schedule.
9 wins easy then a couple more in playoffs. I'm buying my PSL soon LOL.

Put North Canton Hoover back on the schedule. I remember that game.

Bellaire and New Philly had a long and interesting history in the old days going back to 1911, with the Quakers holding a 22-16-1 all-time advantage. In 1938 Bellaire suffered their only loss of the season--a 14-0 shutout--to New Philly who was lead by a young, first year head coach named Wayne Woodrow Hayes. Bellaire lost again in the following season by a 6-2 score. But Butch Niemiec's Big Reds got their revenge in 1940 by beating Coach Hayes' team 53-7. After those three seasons, Woody moved on to enlist in the US Navy, and then college coaching....and the rest is history.

Thanks for the info Bwana . Bellaire needs a historian, we haven't had one since jimmy Mountain passed away he always had interesting stories to tell . I think he grew up around the 26 street area .

I'm hearing Jose Davis might be calling plays once again in The All American Town.
